Thursday Night Lights

#10 Foxes win a big conference game against #3 Corvallis.  Foxes find themselves down 16-0 against the Spartans.  Silverton scores before the half to go into the half 7-16.  Foxes score on their first possession of the 2nd half and put themselves back in the game.  In the second half the Foxes and Spartan trade scores and the lead.  Silverton goes up 27-23 leaving Corvallis one possesion.  The Spartans manage to move the ball down field against a game fox defense converting several times on big 3rd down plays. Foxes enjoy a Homecoming win over South Albany 38-16.

Foxes beat Woodburn 35-34 in OT

Foxes improve their record to 2-0 Friday night in an overtime battle with the Woodburn Bulldogs. Offensively Max Wilson and Lane Martin shouldered the bulk of the load on the ground. Thru the air Alex Clokey found Julian Canda often including the Foxes overtime touchdown. Silverton's defense struggled at times with a potent Bulldog running attack that featured a great deal of misdirection and sleight of hand The defense did manage to force Woodburn into several turnovers and came up with some big stops. Foxes win opener

Silverton Foxes win their home opener 46-14. Foxes overcame several penalties and early game mistakes to roll over Springfield HS.
