Foxes beat Woodburn 35-34 in OT

Foxes improve their record to 2-0 Friday night in an overtime battle with the Woodburn Bulldogs. Offensively Max Wilson and Lane Martin shouldered the bulk of the load on the ground. Thru the air Alex Clokey found Julian Canda often including the Foxes overtime touchdown. Silverton's defense struggled at times with a potent Bulldog running attack that featured a great deal of misdirection and sleight of hand The defense did manage to force Woodburn into several turnovers and came up with some big stops. Silverton Foxes win their home opener 46-14. Foxes overcame several penalties and early game mistakes to roll over Springfield HS.
